Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dietician II to leverage your expertise in supporting vulnerable groups within underserved areas. The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for:
- Offering specialized knowledge in Child Nutrition aligned with established performance standards, including prenatal nutrition.
- Advising families and staff on optimal practices regarding breastfeeding, nutrition for infants and toddlers, and family dietary needs.
- Collaborating closely with management to ensure meal services comply with relevant regulations and guidelines, including training for parents and staff.
Compensation
Salary range: $81,348 - $107,302 annually.
Qualifications
Required:
- Registered Dietitian certification from a recognized association.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
- Ability to identify and address issues related to health, nutrition, and development.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with colleagues, children, and families.
- Professional judgment in decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication abilities to engage with diverse individuals.
- Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in conducting nutrition training for staff and families.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in early childhood education settings.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
- Experience in early childhood programs.
- Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
