Position Overview

Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dietician II to leverage your expertise in supporting vulnerable groups within underserved areas. The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for:
  • Offering specialized knowledge in Child Nutrition aligned with established performance standards, including prenatal nutrition.
  • Advising families and staff on optimal practices regarding breastfeeding, nutrition for infants and toddlers, and family dietary needs.
  • Collaborating closely with management to ensure meal services comply with relevant regulations and guidelines, including training for parents and staff.
This role may require occasional work at additional locations.

Compensation
Salary range: $81,348 - $107,302 annually.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Registered Dietitian certification from a recognized association.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ability to identify and address issues related to health, nutrition, and development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with colleagues, children, and families.
  • Professional judgment in decision-making processes.
  • Excellent communication abilities to engage with diverse individuals.
  • Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in conducting nutrition training for staff and families.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices in early childhood education settings.
Preferred:
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
  • Experience in early childhood programs.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
