Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest level of service is provided to guests at all times.
  • Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the Front Desk team.
  • Encourage teamwork and maintain high Associate morale.
  • Interpret and enforce company policies while ensuring a safe working environment through compliance with safety protocols.
  • Monitor and uphold Front Desk uniform and brand standards.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for Front Desk Associates.
  • Orient and train new team members.
  • Conduct ongoing training for all Front Desk staff to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  • Propose or implement strategies to motivate Associates to meet work-related objectives.
  • Recommend or initiate personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.
  • Assist management with payroll processing.
  • Ensure daily financial balancing of the hotel and communicate discrepancies to management.
  • Complete end-of-period tasks, including cash audits and inventory checks.
  • Address guest complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A sincere commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
  • Previous experience in a Front Desk role is required.
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma; some college education is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and any relevant hotel management software.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate team members effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
