Job Overview

Position: Account Analyst

Department: Major Accounts

Location: Corporate Office

Position Summary

The Account Analyst plays a vital role in the daily management and servicing of commercial lines clients. This includes tasks such as pricing, marketing, and preparing essential documentation like Submissions and Proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and process Policies, Audits, and Policy modifications.
  • Offer suggestions for coverage enhancements or adjustments as necessary.
  • Engage with Carriers and both internal and external Clients to guarantee outstanding service delivery.
  • Contribute to the preparation of Renewal Submissions for Marketing, which includes Applications, necessary Exhibits, Narratives, Loss Runs, and responses to Underwriting inquiries.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of accounts for effective receivables management.
  • Submit Applications to Carriers and ensure timely follow-up for Quotations and Policies.
  • Provide technical assistance, including but not limited to, completing Applications, Renewal Proposals, Binders, Audits, Coverage Summaries, Endorsements, Cancellations, and Certificates of Insurance.
  • Respond to and manage incoming requests from Clients, Carriers, and mail as directed by the Account Executive.
  • Prepare Policy Binders as required.
  • Oversee all invoicing processes.
  • Conduct initial Policy Checklisting procedures.

Additional Duties

  • Maintain Client files that adhere to company standards.
  • Manage workflows, tasks, and incoming correspondence within the Document Management System.
  • Ensure the accuracy of account data input into the agency management system.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: College degree.
  • Exceptional organizational and Client service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, capable of multitasking, and managing responsibilities with minimal oversight.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Document Management and Agency Management Systems is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without Company sponsorship.

Licenses and Specialized Knowledge

Property and Casualty Producer License

Relevant designations such as ARM, CRIS, CPCU, and others as applicable.

Work Environment

Office setting with a moderate noise level; flexibility in hours and occasional travel to other company offices and client sites may be required.
