Position Overview:

In this position, you will collaborate with a supportive team to represent U-Haul's outstanding service, ensuring customers receive the necessary assistance throughout their experiences by managing and maintaining equipment. You will also utilize modern technology to facilitate the dispatch and return of equipment. This role provides comprehensive on-the-job training.

Client Support Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers at the U-Haul center with products and services.
  • Utilize smartphone technology to manage rentals and inventory.
  • Handle and connect U-Haul trucks and trailers.
  • Inspect and clean equipment on-site, including checking fluid levels.
  • Provide information and educate customers about products and services.
  • Prepare rental agreements and process returned equipment.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring.
  • Fill propane tanks (certification provided upon employment).
  • Operate a forklift (certification provided upon employment).
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Engage in ongoing training through U-Haul University.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment:
The role involves moderate risks or discomforts that require specific safety measures, such as working around moving machinery or handling irritant substances. Protective gear may be necessary.

Physical Requirements:
This position demands physical activity, including prolonged periods of standing, moving indoors and outdoors, reaching for items at various heights, and handling equipment weighing at least 50 lbs, with or without assistance.
