Your role will involve providing essential daily assistance to residents, ensuring a nurturing and supportive living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities tailored to their individual needs, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Implement and monitor individual health and service plans, documenting any changes in health or behavior.
  • Engage residents in social, recreational, and educational activities, fostering community involvement.
  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Provide transportation for residents to appointments and activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Communicate effectively with residents' families and support their engagement in the care process.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall care strategy.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Group Home Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Successful completion of background checks is mandatory.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
