Position Overview:

Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is essential to our operational success, managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues efficiently and courteously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with customers via various communication channels to facilitate order processing
  • Address and resolve billing or service-related concerns, escalating complex matters when necessary
  • Accurately input customer orders, track product availability, and prepare required documentation
  • Coordinate urgent shipping requests, monitor order status, and keep customers updated
  • Ensure precise and timely invoicing, maintain customer records, and provide essential support
  • Gather customer feedback for management and address any signs of dissatisfaction
  • Serve as a liaison between the warehouse, customers, and office to ensure seamless operations
  • Perform clerical tasks, maintain procedure documentation, and assist with customer service functions
  • Communicate any changes in shipping or administrative details to relevant parties
  • Collaborate with management on routing strategies for customer orders
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • For food-related accounts, promptly report any food safety concerns to senior management
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience or training
  • Familiarity with AS400 systems and warehouse management software is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong report writing, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to interpret various instructions and work with limited standardization
Work Environment:

This role involves engaging in tasks that require manual dexterity, sitting, reaching, and effective communication. Occasional lifting may be necessary, and exposure to diverse environments such as mechanical components and varying climate conditions can be expected.
