Fuel Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations at the Fuel Facility and Hydrant System.
Adhere to Menzies Aviation's standards for attendance, punctuality, and conduct.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to meet company, client, and regulatory standards.
Document quality control and maintenance issues, tracking their progress and resolution in the maintenance database.
Coordinate maintenance activities with the on-duty supervisor or operator, ensuring clear communication regarding the status of repairs at the fuel facility.
Perform all tasks safely, following company, client, industry, and governmental safety protocols.
Attend mandatory shift turnover briefings at the start and end of each shift when scheduled.Conduct routine facility inspections to identify additional issues not captured during operator checks.
Management reserves the right to assign additional operational or maintenance tasks as needed, including temporarily filling in for facility operators.
Complete all required training promptly.

Documenting any hazards, near misses, incidents, or dangerous occurrences for further investigation as per company procedures.
Carrying out work in accordance with training and specific workplace health and safety guidelines.
Fully understanding the company's health and safety policies.Participating in training sessions organized by the company.
Qualifications and Experience:
Comprehensive knowledge of equipment utilized in operations.
An Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in hydraulics, industrial electricity, and pneumatics; or 5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operating and maintenance manuals, procedure documents, blueprints, and hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
Competence in writing routine reports and correspondence, as well as effectively communicating with groups of customers or employees.Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, gains/losses, inventories, conversions, proportions, percentages, areas, weights, lengths, diameters, radii, circumferences, flow rates, pressures, voltage, amperes, watts, resistance, and volumes in both standard and metric units.
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form and to solve problems involving multiple concrete variables in standard situations.
Possession of a valid driver's license and any required FAA Airport identification or authorizations.Previous experience in Aircraft Fueling is mandatory.
Prior management, supervisory, or leadership experience in the Aviation sector is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and testing is required.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential.
Must be capable of lifting 70 lbs repeatedly.
Willingness to work in various weather conditions is necessary.
Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
Passing an FBI background check and obtaining a US Customs Seal is mandatory.
Reporting any significant deficiencies in products, materials, and documentation is expected.
Proposing improvements to work practices, particularly those related to safety and security, is encouraged.
40-Hour HAZMAT Certification is required.
OSHA Train the Trainer certification is preferred.
Incident Commander Certification is a plus.
