Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $74,000 per year + Bonus Opportunities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to lead our kitchen operations at Gecko Hospitality. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen activities, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation.

About the Role:

  • Culinary Excellence: Ensure high-quality food preparation by following recipes and standard operating procedures.
  • Operational Management: Assist in managing daily kitchen operations, inventory management, stock rotation, and waste reduction.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Train and mentor Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and other BOH staff to uphold high performance and consistency.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout all kitchen operations.

Your Background:

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role within a full-service kitchen.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of BOH financial metrics, including food costs and inventory management.
