We are seeking a dedicated Fleet Risk Management Specialist who will concentrate on our extensive motor carrier clientele.

We desire an individual eager to elevate their Risk Control expertise and collaborate with our major insured clients to create a significant impact.


In this capacity, you will engage with the management teams of our insured partners to propose and evaluate risk control strategies and methodologies.

Our Fleet Risk Management Specialists play a vital role in the success of Great West's business growth, ensuring our commitment to being the leading insurance provider across all business sectors we serve.

You will collaborate with our National Accounts team to secure and maintain profitable accounts by assessing risks and vulnerabilities. Furthermore, you will work with our existing and prospective insured clients to formulate strategies aimed at risk reduction.

This position offers the chance to apply your analytical skills as you analyze loss patterns and safety requirements.


Key Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in motor carrier fleet operations, insurance risk management, or safety consulting within the motor carrier sector.
  • Relevant safety certifications or a willingness to obtain them.
  • Proven leadership experience in safety, operations, or risk management.
  • Strong networking abilities, relationship-building skills, negotiation expertise, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Passion for coaching, educating, delivering public presentations, and adopting a consultative approach to work.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and outstanding public speaking skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, analytical, professional, and dedicated to achieving excellence.
