Position: Territory Account Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Account Manager is tasked with overseeing all sales operations within a designated geographical area. This role involves crafting and implementing the national sales strategy concerning distribution and promoting the organization's product offerings to end users and electrical contractors within the specified region.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with Electrical Distribution networks within the assigned territory.
- Develop business growth strategies utilizing diverse sales methodologies.
- Identify potential clients and evaluate sales opportunities.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to present product solutions.
- Perform cold outreach to companies in the territory to understand their needs.
- Create a targeted list of companies within the region.
- Monitor competitor activities in the area to identify business development opportunities.
- Achieve revenue goals and key performance indicators as outlined by the Regional Vice President.
- Network with local businesses to foster relationships.
- Participate in relevant industry events and conferences to enhance business connections.
- Collaborate with fellow territory sales managers and national account managers.
- Formulate sales strategies aimed at securing large accounts.
- Stay informed on industry trends to uncover new business opportunities.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the Electrical or related sectors.
- Prior experience as a territory sales manager.
- Relevant industry experience gained from a competitor or similar organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across various levels.
- Solid product knowledge and a willingness to learn.
