Job Summary: Elderwood Village at St. Gregory Court is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in multiple HR functions, making it an ideal position for those seeking a career ladder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: Source, interview, and onboard candidates through the Applicant Tracking System, maintain accurate and timely submission of weekly open positions reports, and participate in marketing the facility through recruitment events.
  • Onboarding and Training: Orient and complete new hire paperwork, ensure employment regulatory requirements are met, and schedule new hires for General Orientation and deliver HR training component.
  • Administrative: Obtain required regulatory documentation, maintain staff member personnel records, initiate probationary and annual performance evaluation process, and administer 30 Day New Hire Surveys & Exit Interviews.
  • Payroll and Benefit Administration: Timely distribution of benefits information, accurate and timely data entry of employee information, review employee timecards, and assist employees with benefit/payroll inquiries.
  • Unemployment & Workers Compensation: Ensure timely response to claims, verify termination data, and represent the company in UI and WC hearings.
  • Employee Relations: Triage employee concerns, ensure consistent application of policy & procedures, and maintain disciplinary log.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Administration or Business degree preferred; PHR Certification preferred.
  • Training or experience in human resources processes required.
  • Interpersonal skills, strong organizational, time management skills, and valid State Drivers License required.
