Role Overview
The Vice President of Global Sales Strategy will play a pivotal role in steering our worldwide Business Development team within the cybersecurity sector. This position is crucial for driving pipeline growth through both proactive outreach and responding to incoming demand.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a global team of over 200 Business Development Representatives (BDRs) supporting our Enterprise and Strategic Sales teams across various regions.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for meetings, proof of value (POV) trials, and revenue contributions set for the BDR team.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and developmental opportunities for the 10 managers overseeing our global teams.
- Enhance existing systems and processes for the BDR teams to ensure significant contributions to business growth, aligning closely with the broader go-to-market strategy.
- Foster collaboration between the Business Development team and Sales across all levels, aiding regional efforts to advance targeted accounts with key personas.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to strategize and empower BDR support for demand generation and event initiatives.
- Utilize data-driven insights to offer impactful coaching, drive high activity levels, and cultivate a feedback-rich environment that emphasizes continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Business Development and/or Sales leadership within the software/SaaS industry.
- Proven track record in building, managing, and leading Business Development teams, with at least 2 years in a second-line leadership role.
- Strong familiarity with prospecting tools and technologies, particularly in relation to Sales Engagement technologies.
- High proficiency in Salesforce is preferred.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with a history of developing high-performing sales teams.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights for informed decision-making.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics associated with sales performance.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and regions.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
