Customer Care Representative Job Description

At Tri Pointe Homes, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Customer Care Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our homeowners receive timely and efficient support for their warranty-related needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to homeowner inquiries and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of service requests to determine coverage and scope of work.
  • Build strong relationships with homeowners, trade partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Perform quality control inspections and homeowner orientations to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage warranty costs, negotiate with trade partners, and track expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with sales and construction teams to deliver quality new homes and ensure model homes are maintained in excellent condition.
  • Update customer care databases and IT systems with accurate information and schedules.
  • Coordinate and schedule trade partners to perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 months of experience in home construction, customer care, or repair, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent balancing, standing, walking, sitting, listening, and speaking.
  • Extensive driving from location to location.
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, crawling, lifting, and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
