Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Account Manager to join our team at ALKEME INTERMEDIARY HOLDINGS LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, analyzing their insurance needs, and developing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to Sales Executives/Account Executives in analyzing client needs and developing insurance solutions.
  • Accompany Sales Executives/Account Executives on prospect and client meetings to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Complete applications in coordination with Sales Executives/Account Executives, submit applications to eligible carriers, and follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations on new and renewal business.
  • Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items, verifying their accuracy and forwarding them to clients with appropriate correspondence.
  • Determine if direct or agency billing is appropriate and invoice accordingly.
  • Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals to facilitate client understanding and decision-making.
  • Review audits of policies, verify accuracy, and facilitate corrections between clients and carriers.
  • Process incoming mail and phone requests, responding promptly and appropriately within company guidelines.
  • Use agency credit and collection policy in invoicing and pursuing prompt payments.
  • Determine reasons for requests for cancellations, act to save accounts, and notify Sales Executives/Account Executives.
  • Process and follow up on cancellations requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution, maintaining agency financial equity whenever possible.
  • Assist clients in submitting first claims, facilitate prompt response from carrier staff, and follow up on claims status according to agency procedures.
  • Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverages in coordination with Sales Executives/Account Executives.
  • Online rating of quotes to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Order loss runs and keep the loss run card updated to maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain accurate and current detailed information in the Applied EPIC system to ensure seamless client service.
Requirements
  • College education with a minimum of 3 years insurance experience or a minimum of 5 years insurance experience.
  • Must hold a valid Property Casualty Broker-Agent license.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with others to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and usages.
  • Knowledge of insurance markets and reference to markets.
  • Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.
Compensation

This position will pay in the $75,000-$85,000 range plus benefits (depending upon experience, skill level, etc.).
