Technical Project Manager

Role: Technical Project Manager
Location: Irving, TX (Onsite)

Duration: Fulltime

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of complex cross-functional projects with a long-term positive impact on the company.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with product management, governance, UX design, vendors, and other supporting teams.
  • Foster an environment of engineering excellence and innovation.
  • Work closely with development teams to build and launch new products, features, and programs.
  • Define and organize programs, outline tenets, analyze data, drive performance improvements, and influence resource allocation.
  • Be the scrum master for your team, owning planning, standups, demos, retrospectives, and sprint execution.
  • Keep technical debt in check, ensuring teams use modern practices and tools.
  • Cultivate operational excellence within your teams, understanding service level agreements and system performance.
  • Mentor and grow your people, creating an environment of individual accountability.
  • Operate successfully in ambiguous environments and communicate upward and outward.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, or similar experience, plus 3-5 years of project/program management experience.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with data-driven and results-oriented communication.
  • Organizational and coordination skills, with multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Ability to motivate and focus collaboration to reach challenging goals.
  • Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated past experience in defining and measuring team success via data-driven metrics and reporting.
  • Experience delivering with an agile methodology is a must.
  • Experience building and launching a new product or service from the ground up and/or experience with external-facing production systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of RPA tools, QlikView, Tableau, Java, Microservices, CI/CD, Mobile technologies, and Cloud technologies is a plus.
