As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a critical role in managing the supply of finished goods and creating a more efficient, flexible, and responsive supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement of finished goods from multiple domestic and international vendors, ensuring timely and accurate placement of purchase orders to meet demand and company initiatives.
  • Analyze and optimize inventory levels, maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business objectives.
  • Develop strong partnerships with internal and external customers, actively participating in regular Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the total supply chain.
  • Support the launch of new products, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing out-of-stock situations.
  • Track purchase orders, product in transit, and communicate delays or issues to stakeholders.
  • Identify and execute action plans to manage excess and obsolete inventory, cycle stock, and out-of-stock performance.
  • Understand vendor capacity and capabilities to optimize product flow.
  • Maintain accurate master data to drive optimal system performance.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports using ERP and Supplier Portal systems.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance supply chain efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 1-3+ years of experience in planning or purchasing, preferably in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Advanced analytics skills with the ability to interpret results and communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ERP system functionality, with a plus for experience with NetSuite and DemandCaster.
