U-Haul Customer Care Representative Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a U-Haul Customer Care Representative. As a U-Box Customer Care Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of U-Box containers, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a flatbed truck and transport U-Box containers to and from customers' homes and businesses.
  • Load and unload U-Box containers, ensuring they are properly secured and delivered to the correct location.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Clean motor vehicle driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Department of Transportation certification.
  • Commercial driver's license (CDL).
Work Environment

The work environment for this position involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of standing, walking, and lifting. You must be able to move a minimum of 50 pounds assisted or unassisted.
