Job Title: LPN Back Office Coordinator

Job Summary:
Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled LPN Back Office Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of clinical staff, ensuring smooth back office operations, and maintaining adequate medical supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of clinical staff, including phlebotomy and lab duties.
  • Triage patients in a timely manner and ensure they are placed in the appropriate rooms.
  • Ensure sufficient clinical staff are present for daily operations and advise the practice manager and physicians of staffing needs.
  • Review and approve Paid Time Off (PTO) requests.
  • Assist in the selection, supervision, and counseling of clinical staff.
  • Address patient, equipment, and supply-related issues.
  • Recommend process improvements and conduct regular audits of back office operations.
  • Serve as a super user for quality, safety, and clinical initiatives.
  • Inventory and order medical supplies, project costs, and arrange for delivery.
  • Collaborate with the practice manager, physicians, and clinical staff to determine best medical supplies for use in the practice.
  • Provide patient care activities as required of a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:
Successful completion of an accredited practical nurse program.

Minimum Experience:
Three (3) years of back office experience in a healthcare setting.

Certification:
State of Georgia licensure as a practical nurse.

Preferred Qualifications:
BLS certification.
