Position Overview:

As a Technical Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with product owners, engineers, and architects to meticulously document requirements using Jira, including Epics and Tasks. Your expertise will help facilitate the Scrum framework across the broader team, proactively identifying and addressing potential or existing barriers to team delivery, including cultural and logistical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business processes and collaborate with the project team to enhance and implement effective workflows.
  • Partner with product owners to assist in both short-term and long-term release planning, ensuring a well-maintained and prepared work backlog for execution.
  • Support quality assurance and requirements validation by engaging with various stakeholders to discuss their needs and provide insights during stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Lead regular Agile ceremonies to foster collaboration, transparency, and innovation, including team scrums, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and user demonstrations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a technology-focused professional environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Requirements Analyst or Scrum Master within an Agile setting.
  • Proficiency in using requirements management tools such as Jira, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience supporting Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and phases.
  • Familiarity with requirements management processes.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical topics to both management and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technology field.
  • IC Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with requirements traceability matrices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to provide technical support to IT development teams.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Certifications such as Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
