Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative interdisciplinary candidate with interest and experience in protein biochemistry and immunology for the position of Material Acquisition Specialist at CRM Biotech's R&D center in Irvine, California.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Procure raw materials and reagents to support the parent company and the R&D center through in vitro biochemical, biophysical, and immunological experimental approaches.
  2. Work independently and collaboratively to combine experimental approaches and contact vendors to acquire quotes, generate POs, and track shipments.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement processes.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the R&D center remains competitive.
Requirements
  1. A BS degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, or a related discipline.
  2. Experience with biochemistry lab equipment, such as micropipettes.
  3. Desirable experience with procurement procedures and inventory management.
  4. Knowledge of ELISA and IVD assays is a plus.
  5. Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills and teamwork capability.
