Fluid Systems Engineering Internship for Graduates

Internship Overview

This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin's vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support our experienced engineers in various business units.
- Work on projects involving applied fluid / mechanical engineering, including design, analysis, and test of fluid components and systems, propulsion systems, and mechanical systems.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
- Available to work full-time for a minimum of 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for space.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with MATLAB or Simulink.
- Experience with programming languages including Python, C/C++.
- Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills relevant to the internship as well as leadership qualities.
- Hands-on project experience.
- Co-curricular engagement.
