Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and technically brilliant Test Engineering Intern to join our Motion Control team. As a Test Engineering Intern, you will assist in the development of test plans and procedures, participate in the setup of dry runs of test equipment and instrumentation, conduct aerospace tests, analyze test data, and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues during testing.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development of test plans and procedures
- Participate in the setup of dry runs of test equipment and instrumentation
- Conduct aerospace tests, including structural, thermal, and aerodynamic tests
- Analyze test data and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues during testing
- Assist in the documentation of test results and reports
- Gain hands-on test experience and exposure to advanced motion control solutions
- Receive feedback from managers and participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization
- Attend social gatherings and networking events
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field with at least one quarter or semester of degree-related coursework remaining after the internship concludes
- Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post-high school graduation at the time of application
- Available to work full-time for 12 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interest in space and passion for our mission
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Relevant internship/co-op and/or academic project experience that demonstrates development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $28.67 and provide housing and relocation support for on-site CO applicants.
