As an intern, you will collaborate closely with seasoned engineers across various business units. Your projects may encompass a wide range of GNC engineering disciplines, including guidance, navigation, control systems, autonomy, avionics, simulation, system testing, aerospace sciences, and systems engineering. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of space exploration and demands a strong commitment to safety and precision in spaceflight operations. The internship duration is set for 15 weeks.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident (Green Card holder), or legally admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or asylum recipient.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- Candidates should have achieved junior status or higher at the time of application.
- Availability for full-time work for a minimum of 15 weeks without concurrent coursework.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MATLAB or SIMULINK.
- A genuine passion for space exploration.
Desired Qualifications:
- Relevant internship or co-op experience, along with academic projects showcasing both technical and leadership skills.
- Practical project experience.
- Familiarity with avionics software.
- Knowledge of C/C++ programming.
