Retail Department Coordinator

At TJ Maxx, we're always looking for talented individuals to join our team as a Retail Department Coordinator. As a key member of our store team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise.
- Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles.
- Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure smooth flow of goods to the sales floor.
- Monitor productivity of the team and provide coaching as needed.
- Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment.
- Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
- Provide accurate and effective communication with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities.
Requirements:
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to train others and provide guidance.

This position has a starting pay range of $14.00 to $14.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
