Sales Coordinator Job Description

Lester Hospitality - Sioux Falls LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team. As a Sales Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to our Sales & Catering team, ensuring seamless execution of sales functions and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales & Catering team, including contract preparation, data entry, and filing.
  • Coordinate in-house meeting functions, including setup, logistics, and communication with clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales filing systems, ensuring easy access to client information.
  • Develop and distribute reports for the department, as needed.
  • Establish proficiency in Opera sales software and utilize it to manage sales data and client information.
  • Prepare sales gifts and send client thank-you's and surveys in a timely manner.
  • Utilize the Inquiry Sheet to handle inbound calls for function and guest-room space, determining the appropriate Sales Manager to relay information to.
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the property's products and services.
  • Assist the Director of Sales (DOS) with preparation of sales meetings and hotel marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and schedule engaging social media posts across platforms, using Canva to design visually appealing content.
  • Monitor and respond to social media interactions in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Familiarity with Canva or similar graphic design tools for creating social media content.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and basic digital marketing practices.
