ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees initiatives to implement business strategies aimed at enhancing store performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Directs and manages store operations including merchandising, online content, inventory oversight, and promotional activities.
  • Identifies and coordinates strategies to boost customer engagement, streamline operations, and achieve store goals.
  • Ensures brand integrity through supervision of product displays, customer interactions, and overall store presentation.
  • Analyzes sales patterns, stock levels, and product placement to maximize sales outcomes.
  • Evaluates and mentors staff performance through constructive feedback, training, and task management.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure successful execution of projects, promotions, launches, events, and overall operational support.
  • Facilitates retail technology solutions by troubleshooting and conducting quality assurance testing for all departmental software systems, including Point of Sale and online platforms.
  • Ensures timely identification, tracking, reporting, and resolution of issues, including root cause analysis. Defines functional and enhancement requirements for systems and processes.
  • May assist with temporary store activations, as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with opening and closing protocols, inventory audits, and operational guidelines.
  • Generates performance reports and analysis to meet reporting requirements.
  • Manages direct operational costs.
  • Maintains relationships and expectations with external service providers.
  • Stays informed about retail market trends, consumer behaviors, customer feedback, and technological advancements.
QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Five or more years of relevant management experience, ideally in a flagship or high-profile retail environment.
  • Strong leadership, judgment, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Robust operational expertise with a focus on effective inventory, cash, and cost management.
  • Ability to implement operational strategies that support marketing efforts, customer experience, brand standards, and sales objectives.
  • Proven project management skills in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify key business metrics and work with cross-functional teams to create effective plans that drive results.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Point-of-Sale systems; experience with Oracle is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Nintendo franchise characters and intellectual property. Experience in the video game industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This position includes a base salary range of $109,000 - $174,500 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
