Core Responsibilities

Examine, clean, and prepare all equipment returning from rental for shop readiness. Maintain a tidy and organized yard and store environment, ensuring safety standards are met. Responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles. Assist in the scanning of rental equipment during delivery and return, along with managing related documentation. Assess returned equipment for any damage incurred during the rental period and complete necessary reports. Process and manage all related paperwork efficiently. May undertake additional related tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Prior experience in loading, unloading, and transporting construction machinery is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is essential. Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Excel and Word, along with general computer skills. Strong multitasking abilities coupled with effective communication, planning, and organizational skills are required. A proactive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and adaptability to change are necessary. Willingness to work overtime as required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required, including no more than two minor violations in the past three years and no major violations in the past five years (Motor Vehicle check will be conducted on the final candidate).

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

This role involves working outdoors and may require time spent in a shop environment, exposing the employee to various weather conditions. The position may involve continuous walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Wearing of approved safety gear (e.g., safety glasses) is mandatory when necessary. Noise levels in the shop or warehouse may vary from moderate to high. Flexibility during peak seasons, including the possibility of overtime, is expected. Occasional local travel may be necessary for equipment transport. The physical requirements outlined are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
