Key Responsibilities

Conduct inspections, clean, and prepare all equipment returning from rental agreements for shop use. Maintain a tidy and organized yard and store, ensuring a safe working environment. Responsible for the loading and unloading of delivery trucks. Assist in the scanning of rental equipment during both delivery and return processes, while managing related documentation. Evaluate returned equipment for any damages incurred during the rental period and complete the necessary paperwork. Process and maintain all relevant documentation. Perform additional related tasks as assigned or requested.

Required Qualifications

A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Prior experience in the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction machinery is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is essential. Proficiency in PC applications, particularly MS Excel and Word, along with general computer skills. Strong multitasking abilities coupled with effective communication, planning, and organizational skills are necessary. A proactive attitude, teamwork orientation, and adaptability to change are important. Willingness to work overtime as required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required, with no more than two minor violations in the past three years and no major violations in the last five years (Motor Vehicle checks will be conducted on the final candidate).

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

This role involves working in an outdoor environment and may also require time spent in a shop setting, exposing the employee to various weather conditions. The position demands frequent walking, bending, and lifting of up to 50 lbs. Wearing approved safety equipment (e.g., safety glasses or side shields) is mandatory when necessary. Noise levels in the shop or warehouse may vary from moderate to high. Flexibility during peak seasons, including the potential for overtime, is expected. Occasional local travel may be necessary for equipment transport. The physical demands outlined above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
