Position Summary

The Electrical Project Coordinator at Titus Talent Strategies is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects, from initial bidding through to final execution, while focusing on enhancing efficiency and profitability throughout the project duration. This role acts as the key point of contact between the organization and clients, and provides essential support to field teams, including electricians and low voltage technicians. A successful balance of time spent in both the office and on-site is crucial for effective project management.

Primary Responsibilities

Project Estimation:

  1. Conduct project estimates utilizing various delivery methods, including:
    1. Plans and Specifications
    2. Design Build
    3. Conceptual Estimating
  2. Perform quantity takeoffs, assess quotes, and negotiate favorable material costs.
  3. Demonstrate proficiency with the company’s estimating software and databases.

Business Development:

  1. Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients to secure project opportunities.
  2. Engage in activities that align with the company's business development strategy.
  3. Explore new markets and participate in community, civic, and trade events to elevate company visibility.

Project Management:

  1. Oversee the pre-construction phase and comprehend project contractual obligations.
  2. Maximize project profitability and negotiate significant material and equipment purchases.
  3. Collaborate with project foremen to plan, schedule, and engineer project tasks.
  4. Manage all project-related communications and assist in overseeing the labor force.
  5. Monitor productivity and profitability, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  6. Advise on monthly billing and job cost forecasts.

  • Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
  • Ability to navigate construction job sites effectively.
