Job Title: Bartender | PLANTA Cocina

At Chase Hospitality Group, we're seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at PLANTA Cocina. As a key member of our bar team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion our brand's vision and values, contributing to a culture of positivity and high standards.
  • Create a warm, welcoming, and positive environment for guests and employees.
  • Uphold our standards at all times, treating everyone with courtesy and respect.
  • Develop a world-class guest experience through interactions and following our steps of service.
  • Prepare and serve drinks according to set standard recipes.
  • Oversee the overall operation of the bar, including POS, setup, teardown, and mise en place.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar, equipment, and supplies.
  • Provide Barbacks with direction and coaching to ensure proper bar operation and assist them when necessary.
  • Be aware of all inventory behind the bar and complete opening, closing, and side duties efficiently.
  • Perform assigned side work and be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
  • Create a positive experience for all guests, both educational and engaging.
  • Provide attentive service, being professional, focused, and reliable.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to retain and clearly articulate details of bar offerings and beverage programs.
  • Demonstrate a desire to create innovative cocktails and a drive to continue learning.
  • Show a passion and excitement about hospitality, wines, and cocktails.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in high-stress environments.
  • Responsible for cash handling and accurate reporting.
  • Responsible for accurate reporting of spillage and mistakes.
  • Responsible for safe and informed ordering for allergen guests.
Requirements:
  • Fully understand and embody Chase PLANTA's can-do attitude, demonstrating a level of passion and dedication.
  • 3+ years of bartending experience in a similar high-volume cocktail-driven environment.
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • A proactive team player that embodies our spirit of entrepreneurship and mutual respect.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer, with the ability to speak to this fluently with guests.
  • Attention to detail and a holds an esteemed degree for steps of service and fine dining.
  • Smart Serve Certification is a requirement.
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized with an eye for detail.
  • Committed to safety and good environmental practices in the workplace.
  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, WSET, Prud'homme, or equivalent considered an asset.
  • Full-time flexible hours are required (days, nights, weekends, holidays) or as agreed with your hiring manager.
