Regional Sales Manager - PVC East Municipal

Atkore International is a leading provider of electrical, safety, and infrastructure solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the Eastern US region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue and market share growth for Atkore's Water products across our business units through strategic initiatives.
  • Educate and train sales agents and end-users on products through lunch and learns, demonstrations, job site visits, and field training.
  • Manage performance of sales agents and make changes as warranted.
  • Conduct sales objective reviews by product for all agencies and each direct salesperson.
  • Assist in the evaluation and processing of field quality complaints and returns.
  • Manage travel and entertainment expenses in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of related experience in sales.
  • Experience working with a distribution/manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiating, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of Windows applications: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Prior use of Salesforce preferred.
What You'll Bring:
  • Ability to work remotely and travel 75% of the time.
  • Strong understanding of the Water product portfolio and product offerings from each plant.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with customers, sales agents, and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Achieve:
  • Meet with principal persons at each agency in your region.
  • Review the budget for your region and understand the product groups that play a role in obtaining your objectives.
  • Meet with major customers in the territory and develop a relationship with the branch managers, operations managers, and sales teams.
