Position Overview

The Guest Services Representative is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out processes, issuing room keys, addressing inquiries, and fulfilling guest requests while adhering to established policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Facilitate guest check-ins and room assignments in accordance with the hotel's pricing structures, discounts, and promotional strategies. Accommodate special requests whenever feasible.
  2. Handle check-in/check-out procedures and process payments in alignment with cash handling, credit card processing, and accounting protocols.
  3. Respond to questions regarding hotel amenities, on-site events, directions, local attractions, and more. Assist guests with services such as check cashing, safety deposit boxes, additional room keys, and transportation arrangements.
  4. When necessary, escort guests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  5. Pre-register guests, manage reservation blocks, and, when appropriate, take same-day and future bookings. Cancel reservations in accordance with established guidelines.
  6. Engage in special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned. Participate in task forces and committees as requested.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
