Job Overview

Sparks Group is partnering with a public health organization to fill a key role as a bilingual administrative assistant II.

This position provides comprehensive support to the Office of the Deputy Director, requiring a highly organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Office of the Deputy Director, ensuring seamless operations and timely delivery of tasks.
  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations, maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and requests from staff and external stakeholders, providing clear and concise information.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring efficient retrieval and storage of critical documents.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in business administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative roles, with a strong background in office management and secretarial support.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with advanced skills in calendar management and travel coordination.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated hourly salary for this position ranges from $23.00 to $25.00, reflecting the complexity of the role and the value added by the ideal candidate.
