The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst, Strategic Pricing to join our Customer Data Science & Analytics team. This role will be a key contributor to our new strategic pricing function, focusing on optimizing pricing for our customer-facing products. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing pricing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support our pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain pricing algorithms that are not dependent on machine learning models.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze pricing data to identify actionable trends and patterns.
  • Develop reporting and analytic frameworks that enable the business to measure the efficacy of their pricing strategies and recommend adjustments.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing strategies.
  • Assist in the design and execution of pricing experiments and A/B tests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field with 5+ years of experience; or a Master's Degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience in data analysis supporting a pricing function.
  • Proficiency in SQL (preferred proficiency in Python or R).
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
