As the Senior Financial Analyst for the Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) Operations division, you will be responsible for overseeing daily financial operations related to Supply Chain Management, Distribution, and Engineering. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting cost, savings, and trend analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily financial operations in support of PACS, including Supply Chain, Distribution, and Engineering.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for cost, savings, and trend analysis.
- Facilitate periodic forecasting processes, including planning for expenditures, workforce, cost reductions, and investments.
- Oversee the Monthly Performance Review process, including variance analysis and the preparation of executive presentations.
- Optimize Inventory, Price Purchase Variance (PPV), Slow/Obsolete Inventory (SLOB), freight, and other operational cost factors.
- Develop financial models to assist in Profit and Loss (P&L) management and analysis.
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators against established targets.
- Engage in strategic discussions relevant to the PACS Operations function.
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations for business reviews and executive meetings.
- Provide financial insights to assess risks and opportunities to meet financial objectives.
- Collaborate closely with other members of the Finance and Accounting teams to ensure alignment and communication regarding the financial implications of business activities.
- Support various HID Business Areas and functions as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a financial analysis role, ideally within Operations, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.
- Ability to navigate a matrixed organization in a global context.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- Advanced skills in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with OAC, HFM, and PowerQuery is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking.
- Effective communication skills.
