The Oregon State Police is looking for qualified candidates to support the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division. This role involves collaborating with various agencies to enhance the accuracy and accessibility of Oregon's criminal records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in updating and interpreting criminal records by liaising with circuit, district, municipal courts, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Facilitate training for Juvenile Departments, District Attorneys, and other judicial entities on the use of the EJSM program within ForseCom or WebLEDS software.
  • Create and maintain training materials for effective instruction on the ForseCom and WebLEDS systems.
  • Perform technical and clerical tasks related to the collection and dissemination of Computerized Criminal History records.
  • Ensure the accuracy of criminal history records through careful entry, modification, and deletion of data.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in research and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with municipal and circuit court operations.

Special Qualifications:

  • Ability to provide credible testimony in legal proceedings.
  • LEDS certification or the ability to obtain it upon hire.
