Shaw Hard Surface Territory Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Shaw Industries Group Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and increasing Shaw's profitability and market share in a geographical area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers based on knowledge, service, trust, and integrity.
  • Implement major market programs and services to drive business growth.
  • Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users, and analyze all leads provided by corporate reports.
  • Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more on a regular basis.
  • Prospect for viable new accounts and develop a keen awareness of market conditions within the designated geographic area.
  • Prepare reports of business transactions and sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales.
  • Communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales information, goals, competitive market conditions, and product needs.
  • Analyze sales statistics by reviewing computer reports specific to the territory to aid in formulating goals and assisting dealers in promoting sales.
  • Control travel and entertainment expenditures as well as sample budget to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Enter all customer interactions and key information into a database.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Previous sales experience required.
  • Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
  • Ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.
  • Physical ability to assemble and take down display fixtures.
  • Ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis.
  • Must reside within the territory.
