We're seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will work in a 1:1 setting under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism and a passion for helping them acquire essential life skills. You will be responsible for providing direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training. You will also collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior, and assist with parent and caregiver training in line with the client's individualized treatment plan.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide ABA therapy to children with ASD in a 1:1 setting under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
  • Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with the client's individualized treatment plan
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment

**Requirements:**

  • Must hold and maintain current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Experience working with children with autism or other learning disabilities preferred
  • Passion for helping children with autism and making a real difference in their lives
