Job Summary:

As a Mental Health Technician at Texas Health Resources, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our fast-paced Behavioral Health department. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with and coordinate patient care, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Encourage and support team members, providing instruction and guidance as needed.

Greet and receive patients, orienting them to the unit and reviewing safety procedures and unit rules.

Prepare patients for discharge or transfer, ensuring all belongings are returned and medication is accounted for.

Requirements:

High School Diploma and 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, or 1 year of inpatient experience in the behavioral health field as a MHT, PCT, CNA, or related position.

CNA - Certified Nurse Aide certification required, or Associates Degree in a healthcare field, or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field preferred.
