Job OverviewSUMMARY: Responsible for the effective management and coordination of personnel, activities, and resources to ensure the optimal operation of the property.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees all essential business functions, including leasing, resident engagement, marketing, maintenance, financial management, vendor relations, recruitment, and team development.
  • Ensures timely opening of the office and maintains model apartments in pristine condition.
  • Conducts move-in and move-out inspections with residents.
  • Reviews tenant accounts, retention strategies, and budgetary concerns.
  • Conducts regular market analysis and competitive assessments.
  • Utilizes market data to inform strategic decisions for property success.
  • Welcomes and provides property tours to prospective residents using company-approved leasing techniques.
  • Communicates policy updates and procedural changes to team members.
  • Facilitates regular team meetings to discuss objectives, progress, and strategies for achieving goals.
  • Monitors team performance and offers constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrates exemplary resident communication and leasing practices.
  • Engages in hands-on activities to ensure task completion.
  • Addresses resident concerns promptly and communicates necessary issues to relevant parties for resolution.
  • Conducts orientation for new team members on-site.
  • Supervises, trains, and mentors community team members to meet operational objectives.
  • Maintains professional relationships with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY ROLE:

  • Directly supervises one employee within the Leasing Department.
  • Implements supervisory responsibilities in line with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and addressing employee concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two to four years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of construction standards and terminology.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow effectively.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Chrome.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Sound judgment with the capacity to make timely decisions.
  • Creative, adaptable, and innovative team player.
  • Ability to recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Ability to work on complex projects with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.
