Job Overview

Real Property Services Corp is currently seeking a full-time Financial Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

This role oversees the team of Financial Office Assistants. It involves gathering and evaluating data and invoices to generate payment requests and document financial transactions. The manager will monitor and compile monthly accounts payable aging reports. The position requires interaction with vendors to resolve disputes and to inform the Financial Office Coordinator or Administrator of any issues that require further attention. It is essential to ensure that proper authorization is secured for check preparation and that only sanctioned checks are issued and dispatched. The manager will also ensure the accuracy of accounts receivable and accounts payable operations. Engaging with residents' responsible parties regarding financial matters prior to their admission to the facility is also a critical function. Additionally, the manager will assist residents' families with any financial inquiries and participate in weekly Medicare meetings. Responsibilities also include preparing and distributing medical, private pay, and Medicare billings.

Ideal Candidates Should Possess the Following Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in long-term care is preferred. Previous coursework in accounting is advantageous. Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing applications is required. The ideal candidate should be a collaborative team player, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and a positive work environment. Patience, tact, a friendly demeanor, and enthusiasm are essential, especially when dealing with challenging residents. Candidates should have the ability to work with mathematical concepts, including probability and statistical inference, and apply these concepts to real-world scenarios. Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to gather data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions, are necessary. The ability to interpret complex technical instructions in both mathematical and diagrammatic forms, while managing various abstract and concrete variables, is also required.
