Role Summary

The Sales Associate plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our optical retail environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating customer relationships, recommending eyewear solutions, and ensuring every patient and customer has a positive experience in every LensCrafters store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by building strong relationships with customers and providing personalized recommendations.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, ensuring customers receive the best possible vision solutions.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames, coordinating measurements, and providing expert advice to help customers choose the perfect vision solution.
  • Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed to ensure accurate and efficient service.
  • Contribute to a positive store environment by fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are visually appealing and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
  • Ability to sell through effective use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-motivation and ability to multitask, with a flexible approach to a rapidly changing environment.
