Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Creative team at Sony Music Publishing. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our Vice President, Creative A&R and Director, Creative A&R, ensuring the smooth operation of our office in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, including songwriters and A&R staff.
  • Manage and maintain various reports, including the casting list, pitch list, and A&R research documents.
  • Anticipate and prevent problems by proactively addressing the needs of the A&R team.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotel accommodations, and car service, in accordance with company policy.
  • Process and track expense reports in a timely fashion.
  • Master the use of internal systems, including SCORE, TEMPO, and PITCH.
  • Liaise with other departments within SMP, such as Business Affairs, Sync, and Admin.
  • Book restaurant reservations, private meetings, and other events.
