Job Overview

The Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and developing staff to ensure seamless coordination and integration of care across various departments, including Patient Services, Therapy, and Clinical divisions within EmploYou, LLC.


Essential Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, accompanied by 5 years of relevant experience in a medical office may substitute for a Master's Degree.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
  • Preferred experience with the physician credentialing process.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Possession of a valid Texas Driver License.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee optimal center performance through effective management and communication with all team members.
  • Lead, manage, and support Patient Services supervisors and team members.
  • Ensure accountability and oversight of the complete revenue cycle, including authorizations, billing, claims, aging accounts, and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain accurate internal and external medical records along with patient account information.
  • Supervise insurance credentialing requirements for all team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all payors.
  • Promote the organizational culture of EmploYou, LLC among families and team members.
  • Oversee the billing team in various tasks, including account management, communication with insurance providers, collections, cash posting, contract analysis, and billing.
  • Compile and prepare status reports on accounts receivable, aging accounts, unapplied credits, open encounters, cancellations, and scheduling to analyze trends.
  • Monitor gross charges to assess the need for annual fee updates, reporting to the COO.
  • Review monthly volume for charge and collections postings to ensure the outsourced billing company effectively manages patient encounters.
  • Manage staff performance through regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct quality and satisfaction surveys for patients.
  • Coordinate coverage within the Patient Services department.
  • Participate in meetings and maintain effective communication across all areas of EmploYou, LLC.
  • Address any complaints and suggestions from families.
  • Provide direct supervision and training to Patient Services supervisors and team members to foster teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Adhere to HIPAA, HITRUST, and EmploYou, LLC compliance standards.
  • Maintain provider credentialing and adjust scheduling based on credential status.
  • Track and ensure timely renewal of provider licenses.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
