Position OverviewAs an Advanced Practice Provider at Summit Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities include:
- Graduation and certification from an accredited advanced practice program.
- A minimum of two years of outpatient clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, demonstrating the ability to operate independently and provide care without direct supervision.
- Proficiency in treating adult patients, conducting thorough health assessments, and managing acute and chronic health conditions.
- Possession of a current, unrestricted license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
- Active registration with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) or eligibility for registration.
- Current enrollment or eligibility for enrollment in Medicare/Medicaid programs.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably Athena.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
