Position Overview

As an Advanced Practice Provider at Summit Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Graduation and certification from an accredited advanced practice program.
  • A minimum of two years of outpatient clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, demonstrating the ability to operate independently and provide care without direct supervision.
  • Proficiency in treating adult patients, conducting thorough health assessments, and managing acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Possession of a current, unrestricted license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
  • Active registration with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) or eligibility for registration.
  • Current enrollment or eligibility for enrollment in Medicare/Medicaid programs.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably Athena.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
