Essential Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical office, in lieu of a Master's Degree.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Preferred experience with the physician credentialing process.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Valid Texas Driver License.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the center operates at peak performance through effective management and communication with all team members.
- Lead, manage, and provide support to Patient Services supervisors and team members.
- Oversee the complete revenue cycle, including authorizations, billing, claims, aging accounts, and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient account information.
- Supervise the credentialing team to ensure compliance with insurance requirements and maintain accurate CAQH accounts.
- Promote the organizational culture of EmploYou, LLC among families and team members.
- Guide the billing team in tasks such as account management, communication with insurers, collections, cash posting, contract analysis, and billing.
- Compile and prepare various reports to analyze trends in accounts receivable, aging accounts, unapplied credits, and scheduling.
- Monitor gross charges to assess the need for annual fee updates and report findings to the COO.
- Track monthly charge and collections postings to ensure the outsourced billing company effectively manages patient encounters.
- Manage staff performance through regular feedback and performance evaluations.
- Conduct quality and satisfaction surveys for patients and follow up on results.
- Coordinate coverage within the Patient Services department.
- Engage in meetings and maintain effective communication across all areas of EmploYou, LLC.
- Address family complaints and suggestions with professionalism.
- Provide direct supervision and training to Patient Services supervisors and team members to enhance teamwork and leadership skills.
- Adhere to HIPAA, HITRUST, and EmploYou, LLC compliance programs.
- Manage facility provider credentialing and adjust scheduling based on credential status.
- Track and ensure timely renewal of provider licenses.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
