Position OverviewAs an Advanced Practice Provider at Summit Health, you will be based in a collaborative clinic environment. Your role will involve:
- Graduating from an accredited advanced practice program and obtaining certification.
- Having two or more years of outpatient clinical experience, demonstrating the ability to work independently and provide care without direct supervision.
- Comfortably treating adult patients and conducting thorough health assessments for individuals and families facing acute, chronic, or potential health issues.
- Holding a current, unrestricted license in your practicing state or being eligible for licensure.
- Possessing an active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or being eligible for registration.
- Maintaining active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or being eligible to enroll.
- Being certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Exhibiting strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Being proficient with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; familiarity with Athena is preferred.
- Having a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
