The University of California, Irvine Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking highly motivated and skilled physicians for the Emergency Medicine Administrative Fellowship program. This fellowship provides training and development in clinical administrative leadership in emergency departments or other hospital levels.

The focus of this fellowship includes a variety of topics in emergency medicine administration, with optional areas of focus related to patient care. Clinical fellows will hold a Health Sciences Clinical Instructor title and be eligible to obtain a California Medical License, California DEA registration, UCI Medical Staff Privileges and Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities include clinical professional competency, excellent patient care, teaching and advisement to residents, medical students and other relevant academic learners, scholarly and creative activities, and university and public service. Positions are dependent upon funding, and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Applicants must be eligible to obtain a California Medical License, California DEA registration, UCI Medical Staff Privileges and Board Certification in Emergency Medicine. A M.D. or D.O. degree and completion of an ACGME accredited Emergency Medicine Residency training program are also required.
