Position Overview

The University of California, Irvine is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the Research Fellowship in Population Health program. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a team of experts in the field of emergency medicine and contribute to cutting-edge research in population health.

The successful candidate will hold a Health Sciences Clinical Instructor title and be responsible for clinical professional competency, teaching and advisement, scholarly and creative activities, and university and public service.

The salary for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on availability of support.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in population health and contribute to the development of research proposals
  • Teach and advise residents, medical students, and other relevant academic learners
  • Participate in scholarly and creative activities applicable to the fellowship
  • Engage in university and public service

Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited Emergency Medicine Residency training program
