Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a recognized authority within the organization, responsible for designing, researching, and developing sophisticated applications that may lead to new product or business opportunities.
  • Drive initiatives to secure new business through technical engagements and capability presentations.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with several years of experience, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.
  • Translate customer contractual requirements, technical specifications, and constraints into comprehensive solutions for system integration, testing, evaluation, and operational transition.
  • Plan and organize the workforce, timelines, and resources necessary for system integration, testing, evaluation, and transition.
  • Establish standards, practices, and procedures for system integration, testing, evaluation, and transition, while coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Assess enterprise capabilities, architectures, system design concepts, requirements, risks, and opportunities to evaluate integration, testing, and transition impacts.
  • Design, develop, and implement testing and evaluation strategies, plans, and methodologies to ensure system reliability in alignment with specifications and defined enterprise capabilities.
  • Review and derive requirements for testability.
  • Ensure compliance of systems and enterprise capabilities with established requirements and standards through formal verification methods.
  • Generate system requirements and verification approaches, along with customer acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in reviews of systems and components under development to ensure traceability of compliance with requirements through verification and validation.
  • Develop and oversee the preparation and execution of comprehensive test and evaluation plans, procedures, and schedules to validate enterprise capabilities, system requirements, performance, and operability.
  • Coordinate system integration, testing, evaluation, and transition activities with other departments.
  • Conduct readiness assessments for system integration, testing, evaluation, and transition activities.
  • Compile data and define necessary changes in testing configurations, procedures, processes, or new testing requirements.
  • Implement testing processes and ensure adherence to these processes across all test activities.
  • Produce reports for each testing activity and monitor test metrics.
  • Analyze and evaluate systems under test, assessing performance against established criteria and technical performance measures.
  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed system evaluation reports and risk assessments.
  • Evaluate discrepancy reports and conduct integration regression testing to verify and validate fixes affecting systems and enterprise capabilities.
  • Provide direct support to customers for system integration, testing, evaluation, and transition activities.
  • Monitor continuous process improvement and document lessons learned, reporting periodically to management.
  • The specific role of the Lead Systems Integration Specialist involves establishing integration testing processes and methodologies, collaborating across all contracted efforts to identify integration risks, whether technical, schedule-related, or performance-based.
  • The Lead Systems Integration Specialist will spearhead the verification and validation efforts with Development, Operations & Maintenance, and Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance staff to ensure successful integration testing.
  • This role includes analyzing integration testing results conducted by various teams and making informed recommendations to stakeholders.
  • The Lead Systems Integration Specialist will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals, including Program Managers, multiple contractors, and capability/mission leads.

Qualifications
  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Demonstrated experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, with a commitment to assisting and supporting teams with evolving requirements and objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in organizing, planning, communicating, and executing project management tasks.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize tasks, solve problems, manage multiple tasks concurrently, and efficiently handle a high volume of communications.
  • Fluency with online tracking tools is essential.
  • Proven ability to work independently while effectively coordinating and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships with personnel at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated good judgment, initiative, and critical thinking skills to take decisive action in executing missions by leveraging networks and drawing on diverse areas of expertise.
  • Ability to support multiple programs and projects simultaneously.
  • Extensive experience in technical project management and leading the implementation of new technologies into enterprise systems.
  • Experience in preparing briefings and documentation for various audience levels.
  • Ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with a strong initiative and follow-through.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Required 16 years of experience in technical and programmatic integration or a related field.
  • Educational qualifications: BS with 12-15 years, MS with 10-13 years, PhD with 8-10 years of experience.
